Its accessibility can’t be beaten, with tree-lined residential streets leading quickly to the Plaza in one direction and to popular shopping at the Coronado Center & El Mercado Plaza in the other. It has ample parks, a cozy atmosphere, and excellent schools, including Wood Gormley Elementary and May Center for Learning. This neighborhood blossomed with the railroad industry, with newcomers bringing a wide variety of architectural styles including bungalows, Victorians, territorials, and pueblo revivals all combining into a beautiful mosaic of influences.
